この2年ほど、ダラムパークは屋根の修復プロジェクトが行われている。大きな工事で、僕たちのようなビジターも、上に登って修復の様子や、庭の様子を見ることができた。庭も同時に修復していたんだよ。ガーデンは17世紀の頃の庭を再現しようとしていて、今年の5月に完成したばかりだ。

この写真は2015年に撮ったもの。ダラムパークの、ハウスの脇にある聖ピーターの教会。

In the last two years Dyrham Park has been undergoing a large roof renovation project. It was so big they even had small tours for us to go up and see the work and to view a small part of the garden. At the same time garden renovations have been taking place. They are trying to recreate the gardens as they were in the 17th century. The garden renovation was completed in May 2016.
